Doornenburg, the Netherlands
Ancient place of
power and ley-lines
going back in
time before the Roman Empire.
The ancient castle of Doornenburg has
been
the center of power for the families
Doornick, Bijlandt and Homoet.
In 891AD the castle is already known.
For at least seven centuries the noble
families have given
stability and peace to these areas.
Both ley-lines and powers are measured
here.
This place has a history going back
before the Roman Empire
into the life of the tribes living along
the higher places
of hills of river sands and clay along
the river Rhine.
Very nearby is the split up of the
rivers Rhine and Waal.
There are historians who say that the
Roman soldiers created
this separating of Rhine and Waal,
creating a powerful boundary river.
