The Waag at

Here
is the old center of the city.
Here
it all started as a small vilage with a big castle and a dam in the river
Amstel.
The
ancient Waag building is prominent in the middle of the picture.
Christmas
atmosphere.
Amsterdam
does not have much Christmas decorations.
Just
the atmosphere.
Very
nearby was the Miracle of Amsterdam.
The
miracle stories are still being told to the believers.
Once
a year thousands of pilgrims come together in the night
to
walk in silence a traditional procession.
Enough
reason to feel energies, emanations, spirits.
