Peace Will Come
We have the
power to initiate peace on this planet.
Does this
interest you?
You are more
powerful than you think you are.
Are you ready
to give it a go?
You can
combine your power with others to create peace.
Want to give
it your best?
The Woman who Started it All
Lynne
McTaggart is the woman behind it all.
She wrote
a book called the Intention Experiment where she explained
how
when groups of people concentrate on a specific goal, they have achieved
amazing things.
These
experiments are all about testing the power of our thoughts to change the
physical world.
She is
co-operating with leading physicists & psychologist from several
universities & institutes
to
conduct more experiments on the world wide web.
The
goals are only philanthropic,
they
only create more positive energy on the planet.
Backed by Research
The
Transcendental Meditation group showed that
when a
large amount of meditators regularly meditate in a particular area,
the
crime rate goes down.
The TM
group used group attention and did not intend to make a difference.
They also
conducted an experiment in 1983 in Israel
and
used meditation to resolve the Palestinian conflict.
They
noticed that on the days when a large number of meditators meditated,
fatal
deaths fell by 76 percent.
There
was an interesting side-affect.
Besides
that, even local crime, fires and traffic accidents also decreased.
Pilot Experiment
In the
pilot, a group of 16 meditators were asked to direct their thoughts
to
four remote targets in the laboratory of Dr. Popp who was in Germany.
The
meditators were sitting in London.
They
had to direct their thoughts at two types of algae,
a plant and a human volunteer.
They
were told to attempt to lower certain measurable biodynamic processes.
Dr.
Popp and his helpers discovered noticable changes
in all
four targets while the intentions were being sent.
This
was compared to times the meditators
were
‘resting’. Very interesting!
Future Experiments!
This
September the aim will be to create peace.
But there
are many other goals listed on her website
that
are completely different but still interesting.
Now!
The peace experiment will be on
September 14th this year.
Are you ready to do your part?
This
Peace Intention Experiment will take the TM group-work a step farther.
It
will look at what happens when
a big
group sends a particular intention in order to initiate change.

P.
S. Co-incidentally, this experiment
will
tie in with the Unity Church’s 11 days of Unity and
will
run for 10 minute intervals each day at the same time for one week.
