What is I-Ching?
I-Ching means studying the pattern of six
lines,
divided
in two times three lines (triplets).
I-Ching
is the study of immanent changes
in our present situation of this moment
into the very near future. Since we are
studying changes,
we will
also study where we are now
and where we are going to after the changes
happened.
Maybe I-Ching is the oldest system of fate
analysis in the world.
The first people studying I Ching lived around
3322 BC.
During 3500 years emperors, filosophers,
wizards have added to the I-Ching system,
which is in use since then.
I Ching is the study of the TAO of earth,
humans and heaven.
TAO consists of all the laws of nature,
because the fate of man is to be known from the
laws of nature.
Spirits
are important in I-Ching
I-Ching is having contact with the higher
dimensions.
How come that the I-Ching gives us contact by
throwing coins?
There is no random theory here.
The spirits going to the higher dimension bring
our desire
to know more to the divinity.
Spirits returning from the higher dimension
bring the outcome of the divine thoughts and
turn the coins.
How
to start with I Ching?
We will use Chinese coins.
We need three Chinese lucky coins,
those with a square hole in the midst.
So the first thing is, that you go off to the
Chinese shop
and buy three Chinese coins.
These coins are not expensive at all.
Don't buy the tourist ones,
but the big and thick ones with dragons on one
side
and Chinese letters on the other side.
When you are back we start with i Ching.
These coins are very symbolic for what I-Ching
is:
a
connection between the earth and the earthly,
where we are and the heaven, the heavenly,
where the divinities are supposed to be, the
other dimension.
The square is the earth, our dimension.
The circle is the heaven, the higher dimension.
The coins is the bridge between the square and
the circle.
Throwing
with three coins.
We want to have contact with the divine powers,
who can tell us about the future. We do this by
using
random numbers, because numbers are understood
both by gods and by humans.
Throwing one Chinese coin means two things:
dragons side up = odd = 3 = heaven = light =
yang
letter signs up = even = 2 = earth = dark = yin
We throw with three coins in one throw:
dragons dragons dragons = 9 =
strong line going to change in a weak line
dragons dragons letters = 8 = weak line
dragons letters letters = 7 = strong line
letters letters letters = 6 = weak line
going to change in a strong line
The
six lines system, what does it mean.
To be continued.
